What do I need to rent a vehicle?

To rent a vehicle, you must be at least 23 years old. If you’re under 24, there’s a daily fee of $15. You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a major credit card or bank-issued debit card in your name (we accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover), and active, full coverage car insurance that transfers to a rental vehicle. Proof of insurance is required, so please have your insurance card or declarations page ready.

Does Robinson Toyota require a deposit?

Yes, we require an authorization/deposit on your card at pickup for the total rental charges plus $300 as a security deposit. The $300 security deposit is refunded once the vehicle is inspected and returned in the same condition. Most card companies release funds back to your account within 24-72 hours. If paying with a debit card, proof of address may be required.

Is smoking allowed in rental vehicles?

No, all of our vehicles are smoke-free. If a vehicle is found to have been smoked in, a cleaning fee of up to $350 (plus any damages) may be charged.

Can I transport my pet in a rental car?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our rental vehicles to maintain their pristine condition. If a vehicle is found to have had an animal in it, there will be a cleaning fee of $350 (plus any damages).

Can I tow with a rental vehicle?

Yes, towing is permitted with select rentals equipped with our factory-installed hitch. Please consult with a rental associate for details.

Can I leave my personal car parked at the dealership?

Yes, you may leave your personal vehicle at the dealership; however, Robinson Toyota is not responsible for any incidents involving your vehicle.

Optional Services:

• Underage drivers fee (21-23): $15 per day with some restrictions.
• Additional driver(s): $10 per day, per driver. All additional drivers must be present at pickup with valid driver’s license and insurance information.
• Fuel options: Vehicles must be returned with a full tank of gas. If not, you will be charged accordingly. Gas prices may vary.
• Tolls/Violations: You are responsible for all tolls/violations incurred during the rental period.

Things to Keep in Mind:

• Underage drivers fee (21-23): Mileage allowed will be determined by the length of rental.
• Rental contracts must be renewed every 30 days.
• All vehicles are covered by Toyota Warranty and include 24/7 Roadside Assistance.
• Payment for rental extensions is required in full at the time of request.

Does my vehicle need to be in the service department before renting from Robinson Toyota?

No, we offer leisure and body shop rentals, so your vehicle does not need to be in the service department before renting from us.
